Doesnt look like any other Carrera I’ve seen nor any other hull.

Nice find, congrats.

Give Alex Picon a call at 305-989-672Five. His family built this classic Carrera 32 and he knows this boat's history.

The Carrera 32' hull is a blocked Carrera 36' hull. Here it's running on one of Alex's Instagram accounts 4 years ago:

Looks like A European design with the running strakes configuration and the rake of the forefoot, almost like a Sonny Levi.

Great vid of the SS9M Carrera in racing trim. It's a historical account of how well the Carrera hulls worked the water. SS9M has a 26° Vee. I think they ran staggered SBCs.

Default Dam Carrera Boats

I grew up in South Florida, the orignial owners of Dam Carrera were the Picon Family, they were related to some friends of mine from the neighborhood, met them back in the mid to late 70's, I believe the original owner was HUMBERTO PICON , he was a well known offshore racer. Pretty sure the boats were built in Miami or Ft. Lauderdale.

Old thread but you can also get ahold of Alex on facebook.
https://www.facebook.com/alex.picon.94
He is also pretty active in the Powerboat and Boat racing forums on Facebook like

As far as I know your boat was never an actual raceboat,
If I remember right from when it was for sale it has a normal cockpit and cabin.
Maybe someone just put it together for poker run fun.
The original and most famous Damn was a 30' (9mm) ,,
there was a 36' Damn raced in Puerto Rico and Damn Too which was the 39' Carrera (looked like a big banana) which they only made a couple .

I own what I believe to be the only race 32 Carrera (pics below) with a single step hull, originally raced as "High Risk" in APBA and later as "Let It Roll" in GLOPRA
The other stepped raceboat was the twin step 36" "El Nuevo Dia" raced in PROA by Sal and Alex Picon in Puerto Rico which took not only took many wins but overall first place for the season as well.
