So...took delivery yesterday, and guess what, she's twice the boat I thought she'd be. I'm absolutely in love!! Murphy;s Law kicked in of course and the seas were real messy. 5-7 footers with a lot of curl. My wife was with me and she doesn't do well in rough seas, so I'm heading out today with my son to see what she'll do. Unfortunately, it's still pretty messy out there.

A couple more pictures.
Finally had a chance to take her out for a spin. Openned her up for 30 seconds along the break water. She ran 61 mph without breathing hard. That's captaijn call exhaust closed, no trim, and full of fuel. I didn't have close to enough room to really get her going. I think she'll run an easy 65 to 68.
Too incredible!!

Congrats on your new boat! I owned a '07 232 with a 496 MAG HO and installed CMI Headers and labbed my 26P
B3 props and....WOW!!! The best I ever saw was 62.5 mph GPS. Not bad for a 24' heavy runabout.
I test drove a 302 w/ 496 MAG's (twin 375 hp) on Lake Geneva, WI about 3 weeks ago and the boat struggled to break 55 mph! Perfect conditions and the best she could do was 56 mph WOT non GPS speed. If your running 61 mph hang on to her for a long time.... the factory produced you a gem.

It was a such a short run that I was happy to look down at the GPS. I'm waiting for the right day to do some real testing. I also plan to let her break in before I push too hard.
