Wayne can speak to the condition. See his email address in previous posts. This would be a fun project to restore and a blast to drive. The V-drive I found was a very rare option.

Still have my 1970 Cobalt for sale. Just got some verbal information that my boat was "liberated" from the Cobalt factory before all of the "Donzi" hulls were destroyed as a result of the lawsuit. It was finished by 2 employees as a
one of a kind V Drive 351 Ford that Cobalt had plans to
make.

I want to find a good home for this boat, I dont have time
to bring it back to showroom condition.
