Nomo here, mine has twin 275's, bought it from Holtz as well. Almost bought the triple boat he had but changed my mind at the last minute.

The fastest Concepts that were ever built? Thats easy. It was the little Action marine boats they built for years and years in the beginning and sold in the Boat Trader. By far the fastest. DennyB didn't even know about those.

With tripple 300xs how does the boat handle. I have quite a few friends that have them and am looking into getting one. I love the idea of tripple's motors but was told I may be wasting my money with buying another motor.

The triple Mercury 300 Xs's work very well on the 36 Concept. The engines are lighter than the Verados by at least 100 lbs per outboard. You will achieve the top end speed in the neighborhood of 75-80 depending on a number of passengers people, equipment, fuel along with water and wind conditions may affect the speed. It will get you there.Handling is totally awesome. You would not be wasting money on the triple 300xs package.

Wouldn't the 350 Verados be better, they have the better gear case and 150 more hp should make up the # plus 100 # less without all the mix oil onboard ?
