Default Concept 36 owners, need some help.

Concept 36 owners, need some help.
A buddy just bought a 2006 Concept 36 w/ twin Verado 275's. The prop is a Bravo 24 we think. The prop was worked by someone and is stamped from Merc a 24p but whoever worked it re-stamped it to a 22. So not sure exactly what the prop is.

The problem he is having with the boat is it wants to continually porpoise - even with motors tucked some and flat water!

My question for the 36 owners:
Does your boat porpoise? If it "did" , what did you do to cure it!
What props are you running? What speeds are you getting with _____hp motors.
What prop do these boats like?
Is porpoising a Concept 36 problem?

These 36's are beautiful and roomy boats. Fit and finish is top notch. Help me to dial my buddy's 36 in. Thanks!

Motors are at or next to bottom hole - all the way up. I too think it is a "wack" prop.
What pitch prop you running?

I have a 36' with 300 Verados, came with 21" 3 blade Tempest, runs 60mph, I also run 22" Cutting Edge 4 blades (Bravo Nock Off) I 've hit 63mph on gps, I have the Fiberglass T-Top, which slows it a bit, but no porposing, also I don't use the Plates, these hulls don't need them.
It will as with any boat will porpoise when trimmed up to much. It sounds like the motors are mounted too high as mentioned above.
IMO you need to try some other props.

I had a 36 with 250efi's...different engines I know and if trimmed out too much boat would porpoise. Props are probably wrong and engines set too high if they are mounted at highest point.

My 36 would run on low fuel 63mph and 58mph full load.

Can anyone comment on their overall experience with the 36 with twin 300s.
