Default Anyone else fish their Concept?

Plan on doing a fair amount of fishing on our new 30 open. We've been running the ICW and cruising offshore a ton so far but just got the boat outfitted with proper trolling and bottom fishing setup. My last few boats have been more traditional center consoles with live wells, fish boxes, etc. so was curious if anyone had some tips on how to store everything for 50+ mile trips to the ledge.

Do you have a transom door on your boat? The biggest reason I would not do what you mention is the boat is NOT self bailing. On a few occasions I've caught some water in the transom door and it was not a comforting feeling. And this was in coastal waters well within sight of land.

Yeah, I have the transom door too. Definitely something I'm cautions of... particularly for when stationary doing any bottom fishing. I actually looked in to having scuppers installed but the factory talked me out of it. These boats are definitely not made for rough days anyway so I only go when it's flat.

Almost didn't get a Concept due to lack of self bailing but fell in love with the boat. Also plan on checking/servicing the bilge pumps religiously
