Yeah as much as Id like to support the poker run Its not in the cards for my boat this year.

I am sure it going to be a huge success and I would have liked to be part of it but I am not really a poker run guy for many reasons. Mostly family reasons, insurance coverage reasons, and economy reasons.


I am a hell of a FUN RUN guy though.LOL

I have actually NEVER been a part of a poker run in my life. Hung out and watched the boats run by at a few but thats it.


I cant afford to beat up my stuff right now either if I broke it Id be out for a long while.LOL

Maybe if I hadnt shelled out so much cash for the CPBA.......

I do hope some of the CPBA guys attend though.

It would be great to be represented there.

crazy day out in Old saybrook on saturday. I was working on my boat getting thopse 10 things that you always cant stand about someone elses boat changed over to your boat.LOL

While I am working on it this guy is walking round in here the boats are parked.

few minutes later the place is crawling with swat searching boats with Ar15's etc.

Here is my wife and I just working away on the boat in the middle of it all.
It was comical I guess the guy dityched the car right after I spoke with him. he had it parked in Ocean perf. then ditched it up the street.
All were arrested according to the 11 oclock news.

it's funny that with all the members we could not put the name of the club on one boat and do the run????
I am sure I could have gotten a discount for the members....

maybe next year we can get into that.

We still have the CT river run this year.
