I like it.

Is there a sand bar or can you pull up on the beach so we can all hang out and get to know eachother?
We can raft up close to shore. From there it is a short swim/walk to the beach. The sand is a little rocky, so I wouldn't want to beach the boats.

This is going toprove to be a tough situation because we have some guys with smaller boats that cant access these farther points and some guys with larger boats who may not want to run up river.

Can I get some opinions on this:
What are you guys OK with

going up river

Going to LI RI and across the sound.

Inner rage can you make it to the sand bar over by cedar Island marina area?

That might be a great place just because I think Everyone can access it!

Gladhe8er That is a great spot and I am SURE we will use it for a get together. Not sure if it should be the first one though I wouldnt want to leave anyone out who wanted to make it.

Id like it to include a place where everyone can get out and hang out on land of some kind and get to know eachother fairly easily(no long Swimming)
Be sheltered somewhat so weather doesnt mess us up so easily.

Be close for guys with smaller boats or at least have ramp access close by

Any options are apprecated.

I would probably be up for anything. If we did OS or the CT River, I would trailer to the OS ramp.

I have the perfect place for a get-together at Cockonoe Island in Westport, but the navigation is too tricky if you are not familiar with it.
