I was told the same, that the M-41 would not make Miami but hopefully Havasu DS.
Can't wait to see it!! I would love to see someone put the Teague 1365/1500's or Sterling 1550 or Sterling 1700 Turbos or Potter has a cool 1300/1500 also. Something more exotic that the merc 1350's that there are quite a few of already. |

POD ? :argue:
|
Looks like has pod and by the 3d scan looks like an extended version of the m-31, 35 running surface. New deck.

I wonder if that would beat the snot out of the bottom in big water....... I don't like pods on a cat, had them, hated them..... But they do give lift and speed in the flat. They give you room for an oil pan on a single. They help the porpoising................ But I don't know if they belong on a BIG CAT w/ BIG POWER made for BIG WATER??????????????????

You guys and the pod.. Let it go, its going to be an amazing boat, very few can afford, and Dave's the best at what he does....
No one is questioning Dave's abilities to build an amazing boat. One of the responses, the member had a pod cat. I think he should know what he does or doesnt like. Anyway, I think some Florida customers might give the larger "Pod" Cat a try. Especially since quite a few do the poker runs and do not run big ocean water. You sounded like the old PR388 for a minute by the way not the new and improved. |

People are allowed to have an opinion PR388. The pod is not known as a rough water boat. In my "Opinion" I think it would make the perfect poker run Cat.
