Default Mach 26 couple questions

I'm looking at putting together a crazy fast 26.

Will a Mach 26 fit a #6 drive and transmission?

Does anyone know of the highest top speed attained in a 26? I have left a couple messages for a call back from DCB, but no return call.

I'm looking to sell my 25 Daytona and keeping the engine; Engine is a 542 Pro Charged capable of 1250hp+, but I run it de-tuned on low boost at about 800 now since I'm running a beefed up Bravo.

We love the 25 Daytona, but, You ask why I don't keep the 25 Daytona and do the same thing. That would be a good question. Would it be worth installing a new interior, opening up the bow for seating, pulling the drive and installing a monster IMCO drive, because I don't think the #6 will work. It's a 1997 and I would assume heavier than the new hull, and me and my wife would like a nice new updated paint job. I don't know if I want to blow a wad of cash on an older hull.

The 26 mold has been sold, now belongs to KMG.

DCB's smallest boat will be the F29 soon to be M29.

I'd like to know what the fastest is so far. I don't know of any 150mph 26's around. I do want a surface drive for sure.
At that speed I would want a #6 drive or an Arneson. I think the 6drive would be my favorite because of looks and performance, but the install is more complicated than an Arneson and a #6 in a Mach 26 is not advised; I have heard that from a couple people; I did talk to Tony the other day, but I forgot to ask him this question.

The Arneson is a great way to go, but I can't find one video or post of an owners opinion how the Arneson works on a 25-26ft hull. I won't be the test rig on something like this. The SCX-4 setup is nice and priced competitively, but would I end up being the test bed for this also? and will it hold up to 1200+hp?

I ran the XR's and Imco's they don't last to long at those speeds. The 6 drive would move the motor forward about a foot and add a lot of weight to the rear of the boat. No clue on the Arneson, might steer a bit bow heavy.

PR that is an F26 (w/ canopies) not a Mach 26 (non-canopy)

I talked to Tony and he said they were still making the 26 and Kevin said he does not own the mold.

I think the 6 drive on the orange 26 is bad ass. I would be comfortable driving 150mph with that drive.
