Default New 557hp V8 outboard

I thought the factory might be interested in this monster motor, the first V8 since Johnson;

These outboards were quite the talk at the Miami Boat Show....
The price is pretty heavy.... We will see if that changes...

They certainly may have something.....

I didn't get exact numbers.... Word has it that they are 40-60k each... But like I said, I didn't get exact pricing from the reps..

I have not seen any running video... But we will certainly be eager to see it...

Just takes a little effort to look for stuff..
Seven Marine has tons of videos on water,land, engineering specs, etc,etc..
http://www.youtube.com/user/sevenmarine

Its the same exact LS557hp GM engine in the Corvette mated to a ZF custom designed lower unit.
Nothing fancy or exotic..Being as the engine is all aluminum to start with it made a good platform for this setup.
