Well on it's way!
The hull and deck are final for the Open. The console, top and helm seat are in process... More to come... |
I like it.
Projections for weight etc? |
It should be 13,000lb with trip Verados...
|
I'd like to see 4 of the Seven Marine CTS-V outboards on that bad boy. :D

First hull is out of the mold

I remember the first DI test I saw they said it weighed 16,500lbs. I thought that was a bit much for a 36' boat even with quads...
Has anyone put suspension seats in a DI? If so how much did they cost? |
That weight was off considerably... The boats don't weigh 16,500lbs....

How much weight does the quad transom add? I think that article said but I don't remember. |

Yeah that's what I was thinking too, didn't sound right...
How much weight does the quad transom add? I think that article said but I don't remember. The transoms are cored with 24lb density foam in 1" layers with two glass layers between each layer of foam, then capped. All get knuckles on the outer joint. Stringer arrangement changes triples to quad. I get the stringer and transom foam pre cut via CNC, as well as each layer of fiberglass and core. It is a hand laid vinylester layup, but I took the trimming and overlap factor out of most of it....:drink: |
Deep Impact in Chicago
There was a Deep Impact CC in Chicago with maroon sides , white deck and brown leather interior. The boat was absolutely stunning!!!
