Dave when blending paint should I use a tape line then sand it down or fan out new paint onto old then use blending thinner . Im using martin seinor prism paint it gave me the best match but still not perfict. Can still see a edge between new and old. What about gell coat repair same steps ? Also check your PM thanks Dan

oops sorry Dan i did not see that. give me a call and i'll give ya the run down on the process.

for blending you fan out the color but not the clear. I try to single coat repairs if at all possible and extend the clear past the color but dont fan out the gun. Stop it as short as you can sometimes i will hit the edge with an over thinned coat of clear but always as short as i can than use an edge blender. It really is something you develop an eye for over time as every repair is different (which also makes it tuff to explain the process as well).

How to blend in....

dont have a purple mohawk
Dont be fat and wear tight clothes
dont act like a knob
have good teeth (crucial)
no nose picking in public
butt/ same as above
look in the mirror before you leave home, chances ar if you have a doubt it is hideous, and you wont blend in
