I want everyone to know about my Oxidation Remover. I've had others ask me about the benefits, so here goes.

I've developed it to be a one step product. I use it for my Heavy oxidation jobs as well as minor touch-ups.

It will remove 1000 grit sand marks, minor scuffs & scratches and oxidation of course.

It can also be used as your Hull & Transom Cleaner. I use it to remove black streaks, water lines, transom soot & any other heavy imperfections on a boat before I polish.

I know a lot of companies would like you to purchase a couple of different products for each job, but you just don't need them. As most of you have hopefully read about me, I like products that work and I believe in keeping it simple. The same goes for my Leverage Polish and what we've achieved with only needing water and a towel to maintain the Shine.

I bought Donnie's Leverage Polish a year ago, and promised to post results after a season of usage. Very easy on/off, water and dry towel clean-up, and one application per (Michigan) season. I couldn't be any happier with a finish product!

(Sorry this wasn't about the oxidation product. I recently wet-sanded the crap out of my "pink" hull, so I didn't need that Leverage offering.)

"pink" = severe oxidation of a red hull. I had to start with 600 grit!

Can someone explain wet sanding to me. My blue gel looks almost white.

With my apache I had a bottom sealent to remove last winter. I started with 900 grit then went to 1200 and then to 2000. I then followed up with buffing compount and then leverage.

My technique was to do 2'X2' portions so I was consistant. I had a five gallon bucket of water that I would dunk my paper in and the I would also consistantly spray the working area with either the hose or a pump style sprayer. I recommend using a sanding block to wrap the paper around as well it will really save your hand.

It is a long process and depending on the size of the area it will take a while. I had 60 hrs of actual time in mine to do everything below the waterline.
