Please advise on most cost affective way

Over the winter I am looking to change the exterior on my boat, Should I?

1) Prep the boat for paint. Fill all the holes and prime to be shot with paint by someone else. Add partial factory graphics then clearcoat all?

OR

2) Fill all holes pull all hardware and then vinyl wrap deck and sides then clearcoat?

Which one will be more durable and also cost effective?

No need to clearcoat a wrap- the laminate serves that purpose.

Me being from from the graphics side of things, I would tell you to wrap it! With today's technology the design capabilty with vinyl has really taken off! The wraps already have a clear coat so no need to clear them with paint. I would say vinyl is realitevly easy to repair as the damage section can be removed and a new piece put in. The labor and cost is significantly lower with vinyl. Once the design is done no matter or complex the color scheme is it takes the same amount of time to install where as with paint the more complex the design the more man hours to paint it!

Just my 2 cents!
