Boat wraps
 

Who does this and has a good designer? Looking to go this route on my boat.

Anyone done this, if so any complaints?

I just had my boat wrapped by John at Vinyl Images in St. Louis, It is incredible. They custom designed the graphics and installed all in 2-3 weeks. Price was very competetive, looks as good as paint, can fix scratches easy, easy to clean, I'm very happy with it, John is at 636 305-wrap.

I had my boat completly wrapped this winter by Prodezigns.com and love the design but I'm having some trouble with air bubbles on the bow lip to gunnel. You will have some seams that will be noticable but only up close. I get plenty of comments about the design and I'm happy with it overall. If anyone has any suggestions on how to get rid of the air bubbles I would appreciate it.

take a needle , and punchure the bubble, if it does not stick, use a needle with liquid adhesive to stick, Should not be any air bubbles or seams if it is installed right.

We have been doing wraps for a couple of years now..been in the business for over 21 years, just to far from you I'm sure, but to respond to some of the other replys, you will never have a totally bubble free install, but most will be small and un-noticable, but not sure how the one is that was complaining about it, but certain area's where you have to go over irregular areas is where problems can come up, also depends on how much it was needed to strech it into place, as sometimes it will pull back over time and cause bubbles/pockets, try heating and the pin trick to releive the trapped air. another factor is what has been imbedded into the fiberglass over the years....anything will silocones will come back with heat and can cause problems...no matter how much you clean and treat the surface...Rob
