WOW, a lot of bling...bling!

I have a question for you guys! Are you all running flame arrestor's? I thought some of the air cleaner's looked like they had traditional paper filters!

Looking great though! I am getting some great ideas :drink:

K&N does serve as a flame arrestor in most cases so a lot of people run them instead.

I run a normal flame arrestor though because I'm not cool!

Please disregard the "paper" in my last pice, that's just to stop scratches!

As Ghostriders says- the K&N marine filters- have a very fine mesh on them and are coast guard certified.

Im still giggling about the "engine porn" - funny- !
- and I dont even have a pornograph.

Ilmor uses the k&n and I had to have the coast guard "certification guy" drag his fingernail on it before he believed me-

Its very hard to see I even found a pict I took of the engine out of the rig pointed right at it and you still cant see it........(and threw one in of the pipes)

Dave, what did you paint the engine with? I mean what kind or brand of paint.

Thanks

Michael.

Good question- I have no idea. It came from the factory painted as you see it.

Ilmor basically allows you to customize the color scheme on the 700 and I picked the blue in the color catalog as its closest to the boat.

It sure is sweet. Can you find out what they used?

Maybe...

I got in contact with a guy named Scott Mount once about the seapump & impeller Ilmor uses - he was great.

I'll see if I can reach him again next week.
