Ive got a 35 fountain ex wih some extreme graphics I have a couple couple gouges the colors are all in the fade area.My question does the hole area have to be sanded and shot with the white base coat or can I just repaint the gouges.

Its nearly impossible to repair the fade to an undetectable level. Anyone that tells you it can be airbrushed is mistaken. There are some tricks to correct the problem though. Sometimes you can add to the graphic or alter it slightly to cover the scratched areas. Do you have any pics of the boat?
