I am repainting my 31 bullet and was just wondering how the guys that do this all the time reach the deck with a spray gun to base and clear.

I was told once if the machine cant get it,its going to be a dry spot.......

What did you do for surface prep?

Who's materials did you use?

Did you use a primer/surfacer or a sealer? Or did you paint right on the fiberglas?

It had paint on it before so we sand most of it off and then primed the whole boat. Then we blocked the primer, and then sealed and based cleared it. I used actually used all Lesonal products as in the primer, sealer, and base coats but the clear we used is a Sikkens high solids clear which is more durable than regular production types clears.
