I was recommend by Glassdave to use PPG Concept paint
I bought the materials just have to finish up some prep work so I dont have any pics of the boat painted yet,
but Ive seen some pics and it looks like it gives a real nice finish

yep, if your going with a single color PPG's Concept is pretty easy to work with and gives fantastic results. What color are you doing and what kind of boat?

White. It is a 86 40 Scarab. Got it on a trade deal. But I think I got the bad side of the trade. Ran for about five minutes before the motors took a ****. So needless to say I pulled all the interior motors drives windshield.

Plus got a set of 177 blowers and motors are in the shop and almost done. Interior is done an waiting on the paint. Oya and one more good thing is it had a new one year old triple axle trailor. So basically I traded for a new trailor and a boat that needed everything. Hahahhaaaaa
Drink it up Steve

PPG is good, but there is also other good stuff too.. Like BASF Diamont, Awlgrip, Imron, etc.. There are several different brands we work with depending on the application.. Jamie / Lakeside Restorations

If you are looking for a real nice white use PPG's 91050. Its a real clean white that goes with any accent color. Actually its the color match to Donzi's white gelcoat.
