At this point I started to work on getting the Transom boards bonded together. After talking to Dave he suggested bonding them outside of the boat. I went with 3 layers of 1/2" marine ply with biax 1300 to connect them together. As Dave would say, It will be a "Bomber" set up ! At the same time Ang and I worked on the removable floor. That was eat'n up pretty good. Knowing that it wasn't structurally, I followed the West systems book and created a grid pattern on the backside and filled with thickened epoxies. I think it came out good.

Great documentation of a nightmare job.

Does your lady have a sister?

Awesome mess and awesome job taking it apart the right way. My hat's off to you. I would have sold a boat that needed that much work.

As for the gas tank removal, I can relate to that one. I did the tank in my Progression 22 a few years ago. It looks like your boat uses the exact same tank in the exact same location. It took me 2 days (part time) to get mine out. Then another 2 days to do the full OCD installation of the new one. I'm probably as bad as you when it comes to details. I even painted the bilge where the tank was going to go in. And who will ever see it!

Keep the pictures coming! I want to see the finished product. BTW, I have the same year and model motor on my 22. I love it.

Yeah, the tank was a lot of fun! I couldn't believe how much water was soaked up in the foam.. I am curious to hear how yours runs with the 200 on it

Fast forward. Its the beginning of August and it was time to glass in the transom. Like I said. I was only working on it on the weekends. I missed some weekends traveling back to Ohio to go out on the gun & hanging at the Casino.
