It was kinda luck, i was in a locale boat store/warehouse that i always go to, the same place i got my new gas tank. They were just sitting there in a cart. they only had one set or i would have got them all just to sell here on OSO. the only bad thing about this place is they buy out boat store/warehouse going out of business so they never have a lot of one thing. Its hit or miss. i paid $20 for the ones i have i i was thinking that was a awesome deal:bunnydance:. My buddy told me they were on ebay but i have never seen them, but you sould look there. Im glad you like my build its coming along, good luck on yours.

Good deal! Love finding those unexpected treasures! Yeah, I know alot of mfgs use them. Figured some company has to sell them somewhere. Tried to search for them a while back, but cant figure out what to call them. I'll try ebay again.

You can make your own easy enough. Get a chunk of foam, or glue layers or blue foam board together to get your thickness. Then shave to the shape you want. Seal with epoxy, sand, seal again and sand one more time. Then wax with mold release, spray with gel and layup the part. This way they would be completely custom how you want them.

Yeah, I pondered making them myself. We will see, think I already have enough fun to deal with with a total rerig...but you're right on the make them how you want part.

...BTW, sorry for the thread hijack!:lolhit:
