From what I've been told, gelcoat in a mold layup is the most durable and more durable finish...When spraying gelcoat as a top coat you need to sand and buff to a finish it could never compare to the former. The sanding opens a porosity in the gelcoat something that won't happen to a hull in the mold.

i incorporate the headrests into the hatch, and did not cut out the three places in order to put a vinyl covered because they will be painted with the hatch, the seat head rest will only be on the front like this one.

I just wanted to give a BIG shout out and thank you to Chris Bowers and shaggy down at Bower performance in little Washington NC. they have been the biggest help and i could not have done it with out them. Even with me changing my mind and adding sh** every other day, they hung in there and helped me get everything done!:lolhit: All i can say is if you need anything done and done right the first time and not break the bank at the same time, you need to call Chris.
