It is excellent rust control paint but does not do well in direct sun, undercarriages and metal areas hidden from sunlight, UV rays break it down..... ;-)

Not to hijack, but what would you guys recommend for the "best" gloss black outdrive paint? I was thinking PPG automotive, but it's not really meant to be subjected to the rigors of what an outdrive like a Bravo encounters. All I know is the mercruiser stuff is garbage....

I have used por 15 on motorcycle parts with good results. quick question for Dave ... What do you use for nonskid in cockpit ?

kinda depends on what finish i am looking for. I generally use a waxed gel with a fine non skid added. I have also used Gibco flex mold with fantastic results but it is expensive.

2nd hyjack������ I want to paint out drives to match the brushed aluminum hardware I have... Monster tab, vents, handles, etc.... Would you use the PPG single stage Concept?

por 15 works but need to use all the proper wash and primer or it just peels off like a bad sunburn. I used amour coat rust paint lasts longer and is cheaper. agreed that the merc spray bomb paint is garbage!
