Default bondo?

Is it ok to use bondo for light fairing on a transom? Im gelcoating over it...

maybe a dumb question..l i didnt think about it and faired some spots with it, now im wondering if its not supposed to be used on a boat

you really shouldn't, its to soft and porous. if its just a few small spots I'm sure you'll be ok but I would not get in the habbit.
