I am not an expert on hull damage but it looks to me like water got in at speed and just blew it apart.
Any signs the transom is flexing where it connects to the bottom of the hull? The bunks of the trailer should extend beyond the transom. |
i'm thinking a hard strike (log?) or grounding. If you look ahead of the damage you can see two black scuffs where it looks to have been hit by something. I would think if it were a blow out there would not be minor or secondary damage ahead of the blow out like the abrasion on the strake.
