well I’d started some threads asking about engines and such but my project (which isn’t a power boat but you guys know engines so that’s why I was here) just got a whole lot different. Apparently the PO didn’t believe in any sort of caulk. The transom and the next forward bulkhead we’re both repaired 5 years ago professionally, by the manufacturer ( although now I’m not sure about the transom). The PO then went and put the engine and outdrive in along with mounting various brackets to the new bulkhead. Fast forward five years of sitting and all that work has turned to garbage. I pulled the transom portion of the bravo and it had water pooled in the cutout area. The transom was pretty wet and black all throughout the cutout area. I started the demolition with my hands. I could yank plywood (plain fur) and fiberglass off by hand. So I’ve seen a few threads about similar items and thought this might be relevant. They also did a pisspoorjob o patching the old exhaust holes, in the patches popped out with a quick smack, no bevel or anything. .

It’s been a crazy summer so I haven’t done any more. After some further thought and discussions I think I’m going extend the hull 3-4’ and go outboards.

I know it’s not the right kind of boat for this site but I ran into a guy I know who has built my model boat.
