Hello, not sure if i am posting this in the right section or not. I recently just purchased a 2003 formula 292 fastech with the storm paint. I contacted vintage formula for the build sheet as i noticed the brochure says this paint is only offered for the 35 and 38ft. The build sheet shows the sun pad and interior is the storm but it shows it left the factory with no paint. Does anyone know any more about these? Trying to figure out if formula sent these to a different company for paint, and if they ended up offering them for the 292. Thanks for the help!

you might try posting in the Formula owners section of the forum. that kinda sounds like a brand specific question or maybe for owners of similarly optioned boats.

This reminds me of a Formula story. In 2000, we were visiting the Austin Boat Show. I was at the South Austin Marine display looking at the Fastech line. I met Mr Scott Porter of Formula Boats. Mr. Porter was on scene promoting the Formula line up. I told Mr. Porter that we loved the Firestorm graphics that was offered on the 353 and 382 models. I told Mr. Porter I was on a 312 budget. Mr. Porter said, "If you will buy a 312 today, we will paint it with Firestorm graphics". The rest is history. It was neat to know we owned the only 312 in the country with Firestorm graphics. How is that for Formula customer service!

That is amazing, not sure I can get as lucky but would love to have a one only!
