Default Automotive paint not strong enough?

Hey guys! I had a few touch up done on my boat 3 or 4 years ago, including front of the bow wearing in and out the v pas up front the trailer. Not sure what was the original paint but it wears out again much faster than the previous paint and it drives me nuts!

what is or are the good or best, durable paints to use that can witstand that?

I'd be looking at the trailer. Any "paint" is likely to wear off over time with that activity. Awl-grip is the hardest with Imron close behind. Both would likely be vulnerable in this scenario.

I agree with IMRON...back in the day, in another life I used to shoot that stuff frequently...never saw it fail.

I attached fleece car wash mitts on my bow stops no more problems. I had a wrap on mine above the bow stops so being careful with trailer depth while loading and unloading kept mine off of the upper hull area where yours is really scratched. 32' Fountain Fever/ Myco.

Lower the bow stop. Imagine the amount of bow force getting dragged one way or another on the pressure of the bow. Nothing you use will withstand that. Paint is a coating , need to be careful

Get rid of that wood bunk in the bow stop. You want something that gives.

And them cover them with large wash mitts or something soft.

Great stuff, Imron. I've painted buses, boats, small air planes etc with that stuff.

Never ran the boat on the stop once I painted mine. Chain choker running back to a secure point than crank it forward until all is tight But a low bow stop like almost under the bottom strake is needed on a aluminum trailer to stop the flex and bouncing
