Of course you need to plumb in a pump.

if you love your boat, buy a Latham. If you really like it, buy Marine Machine. If you're ambvalent, Mayfair is your best bet.

Is it really that simple to swap........What about that block that is supposed to bleed air off.....I was wondering if ya can elaborate......I am fighting a drifting hynatic system now and trying to piece together a cheap hydralic system....

So now I know why both my motors had two groove pulleys, there never was a power steering pump on the original hynutic system on my Mag. I got myself a three grove pulley a high volume pump, Latham rams and helm for full hyd. steering. I used a merc. three groove pulley and a Imco low mount combination Alt. and P/S pump bracket, it all lined up pretty well. I did have to modify the Imco bracket to fit my small blocks in my Mag sport. I am running one pump on one motor for now and hope to the other motor pumped up some day.

Only need one pump.

Unless you loose the motor with the Pump, then the other pump comes in handy - right.

27,I guess it would be nice, but most all the twin eng. boats ive worked on over the years used one working pump, most had two pumps but only one was rigged. At the speed your going to get out of one small block getting back to the dock in that Mag power steering is your least worry.I guess it can be done i just never seen it.

I need to locate the cyl. from on the transom, I figure it needs to be as level as possible and then mark and mount it right? Then I have to locate the hose through hulls without hose stress too. Any tips would be great guys - thanks!
