Magnum my suggestion is to take that terminal strip and get one that has 12 posts instead of 10. This will allow you to properly hook up the wires. Doing it with 10 posts means that you are not going to be running the power wires correctly. Is this acceptable?

HEY!!!!! That looks familar. Wonder where that came from ?????

Make sure you pull one of the fuses out of one trim pump on each side as two in parrallel like that will be twice the rated amps. Other then that it looks good.

Does anyone know what the fuse size is for the trim pumps? I have seen 20 amps listed in this post but is that for the switch or the actual pump motor, I am looking for the pump motor fuse size?
Thanks |

That is something you have to take up with Mercury Marine. The wires are short enough to with stand high amperage loads. Don't remember when the last time I saw wires burnt up on the pumps. BTW, the breakers on the starter motors are 129 amps. Go figure !!But Mercury designed it and hours of t & d . And it works !!
