What gage/thickness SS did you use?
|
Fountain - not following what your asking? (long day at both my jobs today +extra time make these today)
the metal is 10 gauge / 1/8th inch thick SS |
You should be good with them. They are not as long as they look in the pics and I would think they should be strong enough.
I think what US1 was talking about is using a mechanical indicator cable so you can see the actual tab position at the dash. |
thats what i thought he was tying to say but i wasnt positive.
i was thinking about going with this setup http://www.lectrotab.com/SETRManual&QuickCombined.pdf for the control/ trim indicators, but im still looking into other avenues as well. |
My hats off to you. Love to see personal pride in fabrication, if it done right. so far so good. Post pics after coating.

Yes. Those LEDs look nice and compact and get you in the ball park, but might be a little harder to do the more precise tab adjusting. But then I usually go more by feel than by the indicators myself. |
yah i was thinking it would be sorta a feel thing too, just use the indicators incase im cruising in now wake for a while and cant remeber where i had my tabs last
