Fountain - not following what your asking? (long day at both my jobs today +extra time make these today)

the metal is 10 gauge / 1/8th inch thick SS

You should be good with them. They are not as long as they look in the pics and I would think they should be strong enough.

I think what US1 was talking about is using a mechanical indicator cable so you can see the actual tab position at the dash.

i was thinking about going with this setup

Yes.

Those LEDs look nice and compact and get you in the ball park, but might be a little harder to do the more precise tab adjusting. But then I usually go more by feel than by the indicators myself.

yah i was thinking it would be sorta a feel thing too, just use the indicators incase im cruising in now wake for a while and cant remeber where i had my tabs last

h20 thanks a bunch, i definatly take pride in everything i fabricate, i dont like to toot my own horn but im pretty damn good at it.. had an offer to be on Monster garage when tha show was on the air.
