I Was Gonna Go About 3/4 Inch Up And About 1.5 To 2 Inches Closer To The Center To Get Around The Stringer That They Could'nt

IN FILLING THE OLD HOLES AM I RIGHT TO INSERT A DOWEL SOAKED IN RESIN THEN GLASS EITHER SIDE AND PAINT OR IS THIS NOT SAFE FOR THE TRANSOM?

You might want to run it first. Could be far enough above the running surface to not have the problems. Seems like a bunch of work if its really not necessary. My 2 cents..

hurley (and everyone else) I just ran it today for the first time... i had her up in the 60's and she felt fine also just at regular cruise speed, 40-45 she handled great! i dont think i have to do anything, thanks for all the help guys!
