I need alittle more info on your motor or your motor plans to give you my 2 cents worth on what Brodix heads to use. I have the BB-2X on my 540. They say that the 2x heads are 340 cc runners, but I had Reher & Morrison check mine to see what they really were doing. Brodix says the BB-2x heads are 340, but will flow over 360. Reher & Morrison confirmed it...they flow 362. Alittle big for a N/A 540 but they love a blower. Just off the wall thinking...you might want to get the BB-2. Some of the guys here are running those and they have modified 502's and seem to be doing great. The BB-2 are 305cc runners but actually flow slightly over 320...the BB-2Plus are 312 and flow over 340.

I spoke with "JimV" about Brodix, Dart and AFR and asked him his opinion about them all from what he has seen on the flow bench---I know, it's just a flow bench, but none the less he gave me his opinion. I asked Jim specifically about any of the Brodix heads and he said he has only had a few sets in his shop over the last few years---just doesn't see them much and he also said he wasn't that impressed---those were the words he used. He said the Darts flow a little better on the Exhaust side vs the AFR's, but the AFR's flow a little better on the Intake side. Hopefully, I have the best of both worlds---I have the 315cc AFR CNC ported heads with some of JimV's massage work on the exhaust side. :drink:

I put a pair of ported edlebrock performer RPMs on a stock 502 mag, along with roller rockers, pushrods, exhaust, oil cooler and an ECM flash and got 6 mph.
