Small Block exhaust

Ok Guys,
I am looking to upgrade my Engines. I am looking an some good exhaust systems. Anyone have any experience with Hardin Marine stuff. How about the Eddie Marine stuf or the Revolution Marine stuff.
Any comments will be helpfull.

You've got a few good choices.

I have experience with the Imco powerflow exhausts and I like them a lot - I think the castings are a little nicer than the eddies, but the Eddies are a bit cheaper.

Ive got the polished powerflow setup on my 406 and it breathes pretty well- and looks great!

I don't know the Hardin Marine Stuff but Ive never heard anyone trash it.

The highest performing setup is probably the CMI true headers.

On the Stainless Marine headers the elbow is held to the manifold by a clamp bracket with each piece "fitting" together-

The Imcos elbow is bolted to the manifold.

I have heard of SS marine headers having issues with this particular area before- Have you had any issues with them?

We have had no problem with them and they have a 5 year warranty. :drink:

EMI Manifolds come with a five year warranty, and the price is right.

the nice thing about the stainless marine manifold is that if the holes in the transom are not lined up perfectly with the engine you can rotate the riser a bit at the clamp. We have never seen any problems at the clamp area and we install a lot of them.

I too have a Stainless Marine setup on my SBC. I run dry tails. I am very happy with them and have not had any issues at all.

small block headers

you might wanna check out http://www.boatheaders.com/index.htm
they make headers for small block that are true water jackets big tube headers and are alot less expensive than the rest.

Revolution Marine.

Much smoother internal flow.

Worked really well on my 427 SBC
