Im building a 383 stroker. The heads are summit racing vortec with 202in 160ex . Scat 9000 383 crank. Scat I beam 6" rods. SRP forged pistons. Edelbrock RPM air gap intake. Edelbrock 600 cfm carb. Cloyes double roller hex-a-jus timing gear and chain. Full roller rockers. The cam I'm going to run is a comp cam xm276hr. This is a roller cam . [email protected]" lift in.224 ex.230 lobe sep.112 lift in.503 ex.510 The description says it's good for a jet boat with a or b impeller. This engine will used in a I/O application. I was just wanting to known if anyone has ran this cam in a I/O and had any issuse. Any fed back would be appreciated

Was really hoping to see some responses here as I'm going to be building a few very similar motors for mine..... Have you called Comp Cams? I've heard most of these manufacturers have pretty good tech lines to help out.

I've talked to the tech guys at comp cams and they didnt think I'd have any problems and i don't either. I really thought there would of been alot more guys out there that had done small block 350 builds that might of used this cam.
