I completely redid a GT150 about 10 years ago. New transom, sringers, floor, paint, everything. It was a very cool boat. I was a little dissappointed in the way it ran afterwards. Terrible chine walk and letting off the throttle was an exciting adventure. I had a 1989 black max 150 on it with a 8" jack plate.
