Thinking of having a carpet made to match my intergrated swim platform and having it snap on. Like the cockpit area. Has anyone done this? Is this a bad idea? Platform is white and after a day (and night) of boating gets pretty dirty and not to mention leaving dirty foot prints on cover. Has non skid surface but have had a couple of "plop splashes" over the years and figure this may help with that also. Thanks

Kenny I though about the same thing on mine, Its going to get wet,so thats going to track wet foot prints/dirt on the hatch cover, rear seats and the cockpit carpet. The hole back of my hatch and platform is angled towards the water
also when the carpet is wet ,its going to be slick, bust your ass
You would'nt be "FarFromFalling"

Did not quite think bout the carpet getting wet and slippery. Hate all that cleaning on that platform the next day. Sometimes looks like I took a pack of hunting dogs out.
Hope all is well.

We use bathroom rugs. Put them on the sun pad to wipe your feet or step on while rafted up. They have the rubber bottom on the bottom to keep from slipping. You could try one on the swim platform also, but remember that if it gets wet, you will slip.
