Default Suggestions on new gauges

Im picking up an 87 Baja Force 235 this weekend,
in pretty good shape, needs a lot of cleaning etc. it needs a few odds and ends I want to install new gauges in it because most of the factory ones do not work

Im looking for some recommendations on what brand gauges to use,

Im a little new to boating but not new to mechanics,
I have built 7 second 1/4 mile drag cars, custom harley choppers etc.

just not too familiar with Marine application stuff,

can I use regular autometer gauges on the boat or is there something else that is recommended,

also is there any gauge I would need besides
fuel level
amps
water temp
oil pressure
tach
speedometer
thanks for any help

We carry several USA made gauge brands such as Livorsi, Autometer and Hardin Marine. Livorsi is nice because you can get custom colors to match your boat. They also use a special weather tight plug for a clean installation.

We have several gauges packages to choose from, feel free to PM with any questions. http://www.cpperformance.com/products_gauges.aspx

Good Luck
