You have S Pipes and your going thru the transom, won't that be to close to the water line?

I run the EMI Thunders on mine, I used the cast alloy risers and they fit fine. Mind you nothing about my install is standard. Eddie Marine was very helpful with gaskets, hoses, studs etc though. Was the kit you bought supposed to be a direct fit for your model? Did Eddie Marine customise it for you to fit your measurements? If they did then I'm sure they'll fix the problem but I would assume that it would be hard for them to get right unless it was a dead standard install. I wouldn't know about your boat though. I do know that from my dealings with EM, they've been helpful though. For what it's worth, I was dealing with Jennifer there and she seemed helpful.

Good Luck.

Unfortunately most boats arent "Standard" with the exhaust hole locations. You would think they are or should be but after selling CMIs, Revolution Marine and other brands of exhaust we see it all the time. I'm sure Eddie Marine will help you out, but its usually not the exhaust manufacturers that messed this up.

Hope it all works out for you.

Default exhaust fit

I am dealing with a normal width transom and all measurments have been given to eddie marine, when installed s-pipes they are 1 5/8 to wide, i could correct this concern with some flexible exhaust hose (mercruiser) or have eddie marine make a set of angled s-pipes ( no they are no below the water line the exit above the input shaft). I have been building this customers boat for several months now, new engine, new transom, new wiring and have to custom fit every thing ( labor hrs ??? ) just looking for some helpful hints
thanks for the replys

I have installed the Eddie Marine on two boats. Both with thru hull and no Y - Pipe. I have used the non corrugated blue silicone exhaust to make make up close to 2 inches. It is somewhat flexible, but it all depends on how far your exhaust is from the transom. I think I did it in @ 8 inches or so.
