Yep we have several harness' to make your life a little easier when re-wiring not just your engine but the entire boat also. All harness' come with complete wiring diagrams to make it as simple as possible. You can see these diagrams on our website under Tech Support. Let us know if we can help!

mercury harnesses are the best. they come in different lengths. . as for grounds as audio said tinned multi strand wire is best. as well use tinned ends or lugs. and crimp donot solder. and use adhesive lines shrink tube.

Monstaaa: Solder is ok if you use solder with a low amount of Rosin. I tend to use silver solder as it has a low flow point and no rosin. It is expensive compared to other solders but works so much better. Rosin is an acid so if you do not get it off the wire over time it can cause more issues then a crimp.

So has anybody used these wiring harnesses ?? I was just about to order a engine harness last night & ran accross this & thought its definatly worth checking into since its $60.00 cheaper.. I am needing a 9 pin engine harness for a custom application (like the ones sold by both these vendors 6ft of wire, merc type cannon plug ect..) Anybody have any experiance with them ??

CPs Harnesses are made by the same person that makes them for myself, the harness for Whipples kits and so on, alot of us out there use this person. The harness also come in different lenghts. He also does custom fitted harness. But if you are only doing one boat, it will be $$$. Buy, it from CP, because you are not going to get dealer or WD pricing and he doesn't sell direct to the public.

Forgive my ignorance or any oversight but I'm a little confused are from ebasic power, or another vendor ?? CP's kit is $139.99 ish & the Ebasic kit is $79.99 ish.. I am looking at the 9 pin merc style plug with 6' of wire as they both have & appear to look pretty much the same & yeah I only need 1 kit as I am rigging a single.. Are you saying they come from the same mfg. ??

Thanks, Scott
