Well good thing I pulled it out before the season started, theres some pieces missing.

Two blades are broken in half.. sooooo where should I start looking for the missing parts? Oil cooler right.

Every year do impellers and thermostats in the spring.I have been getting away from oil and grease as a prelube as I think it makes the impellers soft.Used power steering fluid this year but KY is probably better might use that next year.

Thumbs up

i change mine every spring,i use white lithim grease to lube it,never install it dry,the white grease washes out right after initial startup,i beleive 2 years should be the longest on the impeller.

Yup, oil cooler!

When I re-plumbed my engines this year I put the oil cooler on the suction side of the pump right after the sea strainer. This will save my a$$ if I do lose some vanes from the impeller!
