Hi Gang,
1st time poster, a lot of good info on here.
I have all the parts to complete the internal Hydraulic system. I already have an installed external hydraulic system. My question is: Is it possible to use/tie-into the hyd. lines that exist going to the power assist actuator at the back of the engine? If so what adapters do I need to attach the -6 AN female fittings as used on the Mayfair systems. I have a '06 525 EFI w/ Bravo XR drive.

You are installing an "Add On System" what you are looking for is a Brazil Valve or Saginaw Valve.

Thanks for the reply, rookie. I have the "add on system" already. I'm adding the helm system to make it full hydraulic. I'm just curious if I can tie to the existing hoses at the power steering actuator without running all the way to the power steering pump with new hoses. The existing hoses already have fittings and if i could tie to them I could install the filter at the tie in between the new and existing hoses.
