Mercruiser 330 Procharger Set Up
ANY ONE WANNA SHARE SOME INFO ON a good starting point for jetting, and fuel sys. setup

a spare long block.....cause the Procharger is going to toast that non-mag 454.
sorry I can't help with any other info. |
I had a pair if prochargers on some 330's in my old baja. Go right to the procharger website get their phone number and call them for tech support. They want their stuff to work right even if you didn't get it from them. You won't be able to run a lot of boost with stock engines make sure your fuel pressure and flow are right (I had a problem with flow). If you do blow it up you have a great excuse to build a real engine. (-:

many years ago i put a 8 71 on a stock 330.set it up for 5 lbs boost.i knocked the skirts off all 8 pistons the first time i gave it full throttle.those cast pistons cant take more than 3 lbs boost.i think you will be changing the engine
very soon.:party-smiley-004: |

Running 82 primary 135 & 145 secondary , fuel cooler, 32 degrees total timing at 3500 . But that is also with a HP500 with a 741 cam , harden headers and pressure activated fuel regulators and real good fuel pumps . Plus a few hours on the dyno. :drink: good luck.
