i need a 12" stroke actuator
can anyone help me in locating an electric 12" stroke actuator that has the motor perpendicular to the shaft for the engine hatch/sun pad???
i have a 98 formula ls and its a very tight spot and cant really use the newer type that has the motor parallel to the shaft.........

They are a real popular car audio electronic manufacture. Thay have 10",12" and 14" actuators in the style you need. Page 13 of their digital catalog. I don't believe they sell direct but you can probably get one through your local car audio retailer.
