Default any ideas

Got a powerplay that a just built a a stock 350 for.ran great on first few shake down runs.now it wants to fall on its face and pop.at around 2500 rpms.I can gun it to get out of the whole on plain though for the most part.any ideas from u guys.only thing I can think is timming jump.or readjust rockers.will be checking them today.thanks

Recheck timing for sure, start with easy stuff first

Ignition Coil?
Or does it get past 2500rpm?

new motor, now no power, popping, pull intake and check for flat cam lobes.

My first few runs it was fine.cam lobes are good.it will get past 2500 for the life of .ease in to it. Or hammer it down.at first we were thinkin its rich cause when I was running hard for a few minutes it would run good for a few minutes then I gratually start loosing rpms.I would stop and start again it would be fine.now it sounds like plugs are fouled.hope this helps.so u can help me

what carb?? carter? pull the top of of the carb and remove the needle and seats and clean fuel screans under them..

check your fuel pressure, you should have a minimum of 4 psi, another easy and stupid check is your oil! Make sure you arn't getting h20 into the oil and causing a crank splash issue which can cause oil to be sucked through the carb.
