Tuning my demon blow through carb for my procharged 454 I had similar lean conditions, changed the jets up to 98 in secondary from 83 to start with little luck. Barry grant suggested changing to smaller air bleeds, that made a HUGE difference. Did take a few air bleed changes to dial it in. I've been tuning with a wide band o2 on board so I can say for sure that made the most significant difference in afr

i believe we have it dialed in now, finally got some color on the plugs today, thanks for the advice everyone

hey huys, just saw someone asked the outcome, turned out smaller air bleeds were needed. It still is not what I would consider right, so next week the motors are soming out and going to be dyno tuned, hopefully that cures it completely, thanks

damn pans, lol. hey jim you dont have one of the eight quart pans around with dipstick and tube do ya? I ended up using an aluminum one just to get on the water this year

So the moral of the story is , dyno BEFORE you put the motor in the boat .
