Im about to do mine this spring. Anything I should check/worry about?

I'm doing this for some rumble, not performance. I realize the power could possibly go up, down, or stay about the same. With this kit, I can later add controllers to open and close the "through the hull" port. I also decided to put on some silencer tips to slightly silence the noise. I'm going to try these: (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT) ... Haven't ordered them just yet, but the price seems right. To use these, I have to open the holes in the hull, up to 4". Soon as the temps outside rise a little more!! Only thing to check, is that you have room to go though the hull. :grinser010:

I have a 85 5.7 with alpha, I am debating on getting this or doing it another way. I have couple issues I think that might arise but we will see. Can you take pictures and what not as you do the project?

Just opened up the holes through the hull... Wasn't so bad... Will get inside and post some pics of the final hookup soon.

Hows it sound?

I did it on a 350 MAG on a crownline two years ago. For one make sure you get the right set up. If you look at CORSA's website there is a number and the guy is helpful. You need like a 3 or 4 in hold saw or something I cant remember exact. Then make sure you measure ten times inside and out. Cutting the whole is not to bad but really made me sweat. The hole saw didnt go all the way through so I has to hop in and go from the inside to finish. I would saying hooking up the diverters was the worse part, at least on the crownline it was like I could barely get back there and the diverter wasnt going in by like 1/8 of an inch. The diverters probably took me 3 hours to get in. Overall an 8hour job. probably take half of the time if I did it again. Then wiring it wasnt hard, just follow the instructions and added a toggle to the dash. Make sure you get the 3m sealant to put behind the exahust tips before screwing them down

Sorry, it's been a while! Been busy makin' some cash for fuel! Anyway, she sounds GREAT!! Not too quiet, Not too LOUD!! You can still hold a conversation if need be, AND... You can drown out a conversation(wife) IF NEED BE!!! I would compare it to sitting next to a couple of old Vettes with side exhaust. In other words... SWEET!!
