Hey Guys
Is there any way to test a set of Instatrim indicators? I have a set on my Baja, there is a 12V wire and 2 ribbon cables going to the gauge. When I turn the key "on" the very top and bottom lights come on, but the others don't regardless of tab position. I have tried removing and cleaning the actual piece that clamps around the tab, but, it didn't help, I would like to see if there is ANY kind of signal going to gauge.
ANY help would be appreciated!
Thanks!
Michael

The indicators are based on magnets in the cylinder. If you take apart the cylinder, there should be a white line on the bracket that lines up with the white line on the magnet, if they move or are not lined up, it will not work very well.
