Default winterize outdrive and motor

first boat, just seeing what i should do to winterize beside change oil, and add anitfreeze....should i do anything to the outdrive? change the oil maybe? its a 454 Mag, with a bravo 1 outdrive

Make sure you get all the water out of drive and block

If you don't know how to do it and don't have somebody to show you, then you should have it done by a professional. The risk of not winterizing correctly could be a $10,000 mistake.

X2 on this one. Every spring we get 3 or 4 sheepish looking folks that come in with a cracked block, manifolds, coolers, etc. and wonder how it happened. Every single time, they (eventually) say they tried to save some money by winterizing it themselves. Every single time, they end up spending 10x what they "saved" in replacing everything. Sad, but true. Don't join the club.
